Kids and Faith Formation

We are creating the best day of a kid’s week. Our goal is to foster an environment where kids are valued, loved and encouraged. All classes are staffed with loving, committed leaders who teach a Bible-based lesson using active and creative teaching methods.

Join us for a Children's Faith Formation Open House!



  • Babies and Toddlers (newborn to 2) 
  • Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • Our nursery rooms are staffed by safe sanctuary certified paid employees and utilize the “Play-N-Worship" curriculum.

Our Wee-Ones (green) room provides care for our infants, crawlers, and beginning walkers. Their day will include tummy time, stories, music and, of course, some cuddles. 

Our Travellers (yellow) room provides care for our sturdy walkers/toddlers and any pre-schooler who is working hard towards diaper free days and will include a short Bible story and activity, along with play time, music and a snack.


Pre-School thru Early Kindergarten

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Imagine a space for pre-school age children where learning about God is FUN! Our classroom is equipped with large and small motor activities for your child. Our teachers use Trinity_Awakenings_new.jpgthe "Deep Blue" curriculum which engages young children through movement, music, story and play and introduces them to how we interact and become a faith community.

Horizons (Alicia Sundheimer Room)

Kindergarten thru Second Grade

  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This classroom is for children kindergarten thru third grade and is designed in a Montessori environment. It utilizes the "Deep Blue" curriculum which allows children to learn the Bible through manipulation and by experiencing specially made materials. God in mystery, awe and wonder comes alive as the children dwell in the presence of God as a way of knowing, developing the knowledge base needed in practicing our faith. 



The PIT (Teens in Transition)

Third and Fourth Grade

  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This classroom is designed for engaging children through "Deep Blue" Bible curriculum by utilizing games, DVDs and one-on-one interaction.


The Alley

Fifth Grade

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Transitional curriculum that is geared to engage Preteens is utilized in this amazing comfort zone. Students will learn how to apply their faith to everyday life and learn social skills needed for healthy transition to youth fellowship.


Interested in Volunteering?

In order to provide these wonderful opportunities for our children, we rely on volunteer teaching teams and welcome your time as a volunteer in our 10:00 a.m. Children's Faith Formation program. Teams are set up in convenient rotations and a kick-off orientation is offered  to prepare the volunteer teaching teams.
