Lend a Helping Hand
Now through the end of September
Want to know how you can help with Hurricane Harvey relief through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)? Trinity is collecting items for buckets that will be shipped later this month to assist. Kitchen gloves (durable for multiple uses), work gloves (all cotton, all leather, or all cotton with leather palm), clothesline (50 or 100 feet; plastic or cotton), and clothesline may be brought to Trinity and placed in collection bins located in the back of the sanctuary.

Labyrinth

Celebration of Ministries & Potluck

Sunday, March 26- 11:30am in Fellowship Hall

Join us as we celebrate the amazing ways Trinity Ministries have lived out their understanding of faithfulness. Share in affirming the lives touched by the extension of love and compassion to others. We are encouraging all ministries of the church to have a display of Celebrations for the program year. This is a potluck so bring your favorite dish to pass and tableware. Beverages provided. Citizen Forester Class-Tree Planting Program
March 30- 6-8pm @ Trinity in Discovery

The Urban Forest Project’s Citizen Forester program is a unique, all-encompassing program that will teach you all about trees and urban forestry. This is one of four classes that must be attended to earn the Citizen Forester title. For more info, contact Margaret Miller at 269.921.0592.


Lenten Breakfast
April 15- 9:30am in the Parlor
Join us for the blessed tradition of the celebration of the empty tomb sponsored by the United Methodist Women. A lite breakfast will be served with a donation of $5. This donation will help the Trinity UMW to send its mission pledge benefitting women, children and youth here and around the world. Tickets will be available in the Parlor beginning March 19, or by calling the church office at 456.7168. 

Leadership Spiritual Retreat

This retreat provides an opportunity for church leaders to spend time together and experience God’s discernment in their lives, providing participants with a setting for sacred time apart. Book Sale

Access Hunger Walk
May 7- 1:30pm & Park Church

Join the Trinity walk team for the 40th anniversary of the Access Hunger Walk. The Community Ministries Program is a funding recipient for the walk, so come support our Congress children! Trinity has a portable labyrinth  which is set up for special occasions during the year. Our labyrinth is a beautiful art form constructed of nylon reinforced vinyl upon which is painted the circular pathway leading to and from the center. Thirty-six feet in diameter, this labyrinth is also available for a nominal rental fee of $50 to the community for a variety of uses including ecumenical and interfaith worship, and spiritual formation workshops for adults, families, youth and children.
