Trinity United Methodist Church

Youth

We have a Mission for Youth Ministries here at Trinity.

Showing all youth the amazing love of God and empowering them to search for truth, strive for justice, and live out God’s purpose for their life.

How do we seek to achieve that mission?

By creating a welcoming and safe place where all 6th-12th grade youth can build relationships with themselves, with each other, and with God.

Youth Group | Sundays from 10:15am-11:15am

Join us each week starting September 13th for connection, discussion, games, activities & more! This year’s theme is: Why Church? We will dive into topics together, wondering about things like why the Bible is still relevant, why worship is important, why we should choose love, and more.

Youth Group meets in the upstairs Pellowe Room after the Children’s Moment and is led by our Youth Director Annie Slabaugh & other Protection Policy certified volunteers.

Youth Adventures | Four Times a Year

Don’t miss out on our exciting quarterly Youth Adventures – things like the Mall & Movie Adventure, Clothes Relay & Roller Rink Adventure, and more! Details on our next adventure coming soon…

Connect with Annie |  Based on Youth Schedules
We know all our youth cannot make it to Youth Group: Fellowship on Sunday mornings. Annie would still like to find ways to connect & support our 6th-12th grade friends. Grown-ups, please consider…

  • Sharing your youth’s after-school activities schedule with Annie & the staff. We’d love to show up for them at performances, sporting events, or wherever they’re doing their thing!
  • Talking to your youth about one-on-ones with Annie. This is a way for youth to meet with Annie outside of church to chat about anything on their hearts or minds. Reach out directly to Annie about scheduling!

Family Adventures & Events | Year Round

There’s always something happening for families here at Trinity and that means Youth families too. Join us for events like:

  • Fall & Winter Family Nights
  • Visit to Schwallier’s Orchard
  • The Greatest Advent(ure)
  • From Hosanna to Hallelujah
  • Family Camp at Lake Michigan
  • Whitecaps Game
  • Party in the Park
  • …and so much more!

Registration Paperwork

Remember friends, Trinity has a Protection Policy in place to ensure the safety of our children, youth & vulnerable adults. As part of that, we ask all grown-ups to complete annual registration paperwork for their child or youth before they participate in any Trinity programming to ensure we have their latest health & safety info. Forms are online and in the check-in area located near the Prayground.

Children & Youth Registration Form (Required for All)

Youth Communication Consent Form (Optional for Youth)
